The Ministry of Health of Georgia reported that 15 injured people were taken to various medical institutions on Wednesday and early Thursday, during the dispersal of demonstrations against the law on "foreign agents," SOVA reported.

The demonstrations were held near the Georgian parliament building in capital Tbilisi.

Law enforcement officers are also among the injured.

"Some of the injured have been discharged," the health ministry informed Intepressnews.

Georgian MPs on Wednesday passed the bill "on the transparency of foreign influence" in the second reading, with 83 votes.

During the dispersal of demonstrations in Tbilisi, law enforcement agencies used special measures such as water cannons, pepper sprays, tear gas. The demonstrators claim that the special police forces used rubber bullets also, but the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia does not confirm this information.
