Colombia's diplomatic staff will return to their homeland after the country’s severing of diplomatic relations with Israel amid the latter’s military operation in Gaza. This was announced by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) of Colombia.

"The Colombian diplomatic staff will return to our country. Our Israeli and Palestinian compatriots will continue to receive the necessary assistance and services from the consular section of the embassy in Tel Aviv," said a statement posted on the Colombian MFA website.
