Cyprus welcomes the positive steps taken by Armenia and Azerbaijan to use the Alma Ata Declaration as a basis for border delimitation. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) of Cyprus noted this in a statement on X—formerly Twitter.

“We welcome steps that foster regional stability and security in full respect of sovereignty, territorial integrity and international law,” added the Cypriot MFA.
