If the Israelis make a mistake and attack Iranian territory, they will find themselves in very different circumstances, Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi said during his speech at Lahore University in Pakistan, Mehr reported.

Raisi said the people of Iran and Pakistan "share the defense of the Palestinian nation as a common faith."

He referred to the Iranian Armed Forces' retaliatory strikes on Israel on 13 April for the attack on the Iranian consulate in Damascus, saying: "The great Iranian nation punished the Zionist regime for attacking the Iranian consulate in Damascus, which was against all international laws. If the Zionists make a mistake and attack the territory of Islamic Iran, they will find themselves in completely different circumstances. It is unclear what will be left of the Zionist regime (after their new aggression)."
