Satellite photos had revealed that the Azerbaijani side completely destroyed the St. Ascension Church of Berdzor (Lachin) town of Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh). Before its destruction, this Armenian church was completely incorporated into the decks and covers.

Currently, the Church of the Holy Martyrs, which was built in 2002 in Aghavno village, is under threat of destruction by Azerbaijan, reports MonumentWatch.org.

Azerbaijani social media platforms show that this Armenian church, like Berdzor’s St. Ascension Church, is fully incorporated into the decks and covers.

Considering the precedent of the Berdzor church, the same fate awaits the Aghavno church.
