Slovakia's Prime Minister Robert Fico was injured in a shooting and taken to the hospital.
The incident took place in the central Slovakian town of Handlova, about 150 kilometers (93 miles) northeast of the capital Bratislava, local broadcaster TA3 reported.
The shooting suspect was taken into custody.
