Stressing the need for peace, stability, and prosperity in the region of South Caucasus, we welcome the agreement reached on April 19, during the 8th meeting of the Commission on Delimitation and Border Security of the State Border, between the Armenian and Azeri sides. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) of Greek noted this in a statement on X—formerly Twitter.

Also, noting that both parties agreed that their border delimitation process would be based on the 1991 Alma-Ata Declaration, the Greek MFA urged the parties to continue the implementation of the agreed steps, and stressed the importance of preventing escalation on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border.
