Prince Harry has changed his primary place of residence to the United States in his new official documents, reports The Daily Mail.

The details, filed at Companies House for Harry's eco travel venture Travalyst, show that his country of residence is now the US; previously, the UK was noted in this column.

The change of country in the paperwork raises serious questions about whether Harry can remain as a Counselor of State, one of seven members of the British Royal Family who can deputize for the Monarch if he is abroad or unwell.

By law, Counselors of State are required to have a UK domicile.
